Some couples find us while planning a trip to Vietnam, and then their wedding turns out to be somewhere else entirely. This page is for them.
USD 5,888 for eight working hours anywhere outside Vietnam, with flights and accommodation inside the fee. The founder comes with the full kit. Three months' notice is comfortable; the slow part is visas, not our calendar.
It is one line on our price list and it is the one that needs the most explaining, so here it is plainly. If your wedding or your session is not in Vietnam, we fly to where you are, work your day, and fly home. The travel is not a surcharge that appears later; it is already in the number.
Most of the couples who book it fall into one of three groups. Vietnamese families living abroad who want the day photographed by someone who understands the ceremony without being briefed. Couples who were photographed by us in Vietnam and want the same hands for the wedding itself. And couples getting married somewhere that is neither home: a city they love, a house in the family, an island nobody can pronounce.
What is not inside: anything your venue charges for a photographer being there, and local permits where a city requires one. Both are rare and both are quoted before you pay.

What travels is not a set of locations, it is a way of working: find the light, stay out of the way, record the sound properly, and come home with the day as it happened. The Eiffel Tower is a beautiful backdrop and it is not the reason any of these photographs work.
Hiring a photographer in your own city will nearly always cost less. We are not going to pretend otherwise, and if the budget is the thing that decides it, hire well at home and spend the difference on your guests.
Book this when the person matters more than the logistics: when you have followed a body of work for a year and want those hands, or when the day has a Vietnamese ceremony in it that you would rather not spend the morning explaining to someone who has never seen one.

Three months is comfortable, six is better for peak season. The real constraint is visas, not our calendar: some countries take weeks for a Vietnamese passport holder, and that is the part we cannot speed up. Tell us early even if the plan is not final.
Locally, almost always cheaper. That is not the reason couples book this. They book it because they want the person whose work they have been following for a year, in a language they are comfortable in, at the most important thing they will organise. If price is the deciding factor, hire well at home and we will say so.
Yes. A session in another city is a smaller job than a wedding day, and we price it like our pre-wedding sessions rather than at the Oversea fee. It is the same six working hours we run everywhere else. Tell us the city and the dates and we will quote it within 24 hours.
